Hi! I’m Tasha Wilhelmsen, welcome to my mind.
Professional Writer, Editor, Narrative Designer, or so says my business cards. I’m not a jack of all trades, but I enjoy all sorts of things writing related. Mainly I work as a technical writer/editor, but my heart will always lie with creative media. I say media rather than just writing because I also write interactive stories and design for video games. My goal in life is to have a patchwork career that embraces learning, exploring, and teaching all things communication related.
I am recent graduate from Champlain College. Somehow I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Professional Writing with a specialization in Game Writing and a minor in Mathematics. That sounds like a mouthful, but what it means is that I can apply my writing skills to a broad range of creative, technical, and game related needs. And I am pretty handy with cryptography. One day I’ll be teaching math to students near you.
On a more personal note, I’m the youngest of four children with three older brothers and two loving parents. I’m from Northern California and North Carolina and I’ve lived in Auckland, NZ, and Burlington, VT. My preferred pronouns are she/her. As a lady in my early twenties, I have no idea what the hell I’m doing in the next 10 years and I like it that way. If I could be anywhere right now, it’d be the beach.
